OBE4U offers you online expertise

My vita

Katrin Schürer

I acquired most of my extensive knowledge in travel management and online booking tools at FIRST Business Travel (FBT). There, until its closure, I was responsible for implementing online booking systems. Thanks to my excellent technical understanding and structured working style, I led various projects, including the introduction of interfaces to OBTs and the profile databases used, the launch of a mobile travel companion, and discussions with OBT providers regarding product development.

Staying in touch with clients has always been very important to me, which is why I attended on-site meetings and supported the onboarding of new clients in operational units.

During my training as a Certified Travel Manager™ at the VDR, I took on interim travel management duties at an internationally positioned company.

After graduating, I worked for several years at i:FAO (now Amadeus Cytric) in account management. International implementations and the support of national as well as international TMCs were my main areas of responsibility there.

The foundation was laid during my studies at the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef/Bonn (now IU) and Victoria University, Melbourne. I graduated as a Diplom Betriebswirtin (FH) and Bachelor of Business in Tourism Management.
